Legacy Designs can create custom waxes from your images, drawings or photos. The process generally takes about a week. Cad work and custom waxes start at $85 and usually are not more than $350 while most designs fall into the $85 to $250 range depending on degree of difficulty.
The first step is to send us images, drawings, photos of what you want to have done. We need front, side and top views with dimensions. If the design you want us to create is from pictures online, send us the website address and stock number and usually we can work from that. If you need a ring made, we need the finger size. We need Stone sizes and shapes. The more detail the better. All images and information needs to be sent to us by email to [email protected]
We will go over the information you email to us and give you a quote for the work to be done. The quote is for the design work and one copy of the design and shipping. Cad work is very time consuming, sometimes taking several hours to get the project done. Additional copies are available if needed.
Once payment is made, We will begin work on the project and we will send you renderings of the item once the cad work is completed. We can’t send images until the cad work is done because the item does not yet exist.
After you receive the renderings of your project, you can approve it or make changes if changes need to be made. There is no charge for changes as long as the changes are within the limits of the original drawings and dimensions you sent us. If changes do need to be made, we will do so and send you more images until you are 100% happy with the design work. We won’t print or mill the wax before you give final approval.
Once final approval is made, we will 3-D Print or mill the wax. It usually takes a day or so to get ready once final approval is made.
